  How does it work ?

When an existing facility is being modified or upgraded, Hi-Cad will capture 3D laser scan data on site and supply in a format that seamlessly enters the customers engineering work processes.

Hi-Cad uses a fleet of high speed scanners which send a laser light beam out in the horizontal and vertical directions to measure points at up to 500,000 times per second. This results in laser scan data with high photographic quality which can then be used for planning new work.

When laser scanning on site it is vitally important to link all the laser scans together very accurately using DIMES. This method of plotting a survey grid is the most accurate and using this approach we can double or treble the data output when compared to the existing data being used by our customers.
